Engkantada Philippine mythology
The engkantada is a elf-like creature in Philippine mythology. Unlike the Tamawo and Dalakitnon that was the influence of the Visayans the Engkantada was influenced by the mythology of the Tagalog people.
Engkantada can be a bracket term for female enchanted creatures. since Philippine mythology is confusing and often creatures overlap or are synchronized with each other Engkantada can either range from fairy to elf depending on the context. since Filipino mythology is fluid and is dependent on the region or context.
